| Washington’s longest running free outdoor lunchtime concerts series, Live! on Woodrow Wilson Plaza is back for its eighth season. This year Live! is forecasted to be hotter than ever, blasting off its inaugural week with an “International Fest” featuring the world famous reggae band Third World on June 4. Be prepared to jam to hits like “Now That We Found Love" and “Try Jah Love”

Folger Exhibitions: “ ‘Now Thrive the Armorers’: Arms and Armor in Shakespeare” - Folger Shakespeare Library (201 East Capitol Street SE, Washington, DC 20003) |

| Shakespeare's works deal with the themes of chivalry, warfare, conflict, and honor. This exhibition explores the resonances between the Folger's collection—including jousting manuals, battlefield plans, styles of armor, and more—and the extensive collection of Shakespearean-era artifacts at the Higgins Armory (Worcester, MA), bringing visitors face to face with artifacts that embody many of these themes. Admission is free. CLOSED federal holidays. |
